May 1st was the 5-year anniversary of Bush’s “Mission Accomplished” proclamation onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln. Yet here we are, 4,000 soldiers dead, and John McCain says we will be in Iraq for 100-years.
As we move into the 2008 presidential elections, neither the Democrats or Republicans seem to have a plan to bring our troops home while at the same time leaving the region with some stability.
